2009 Date Set

The Athens Alumni Association announces that September 18-19, 2009 are the dates for the traditional high school reunion dinner, held every 5 years, along with two new events.  On Friday night, September 18^th we’ll gather at the Athens football game at the new Athens athletic complex.  On Saturday afternoon, September 19^th a trolley tour and open house is being planned at the Athens High School, Junior High, and the newer Intermediate and Grade Schools located in Cantrall.  Details for these two events will be announced later.  The traditional Alumni Reunion Dinner is scheduled for Saturday night September 19^th at the Northfield Conference Center, 3280 Northfield Drive in Springfield.  Faculty, staff, and friends are invited to join alumni for the traditional dinner, football game and open house and tour of schools.

The planning committee has worked diligently to keep costs as low as possible and is pleased to announce that the cost for the Saturday night dinner will be $5 less than in 2004, if paid by August 15^th. 2009.  Early Bird price for the dinner will be $30 per person.  For payments received after August 15^th. 2009, cost will be $35 per person.   

To make reservations you have two choices: 

1) on the Internet:  Go to www.AthensHighSchoolReunion.com and click on the RSVP/Purchase Tickets button in the upper right hand corner.  You will then be able to fill out a form and choose whether to use your credit card or pay by check.  After you click on “I will pay by check” you will see mailing instructions on the screen. 

2)  by U.S. Mail:  Please send your name(s), class year(s) and address with a check made out to: Athens Alumni Association to AHS Reunion
